Fluid Imagination

So I lost my computer about 4 months ago and decided to not buy a replacement right off the bat because I’ve been in front of a screen since I was 7 or so. Thanks to a computer programmer for a dad. and this break also meant a break from pumping out digital creative projects but it allowed me to explore other mediums such as spray painting and screen printing. Also ended up going back to RIT under New media & Design, last quarter of my first year so its all pretty foundations stuff but I am def looking forward to the next 3 years in this major. 

But now its time for me to get back into the world of digital art again and this time with a powerhouse for a computer I will be pumping out stuff no one has ever seen before. 

So… freaking.. PUMPPPPEEDDD.

play hard. fly far!! 

So Im back in RIT majoring in New media & Design. And I freaking love it!!! the classes are pretty easy but the resources are what im really excited about. I’ve checked out so much equipment in the last few weeks and now the job fair is today. So I’ve checked out a ipad and my portfolio site looks GREAT on it. I even took a new picture for the about page. Hopefully the next post will have some good news about the job fair :) 

So yesterday we set off with the goal of using zacks play hard go far design to see how small we can see the details. And I am impressed with the screen we used.

As you can see the design is a bit small because of the limitations of the printer we used. next step is getting access to a bigger printer (my new job should be able to help out with that) , and buying 1-2 more frames, 1-2 more colors, and a stock of shirts and then we’ll be printing some more designs later this week.

We are adding a small change to the Dfly motto “Go Hard. Fly Far.”

The new one will be “Play Hard. Fly Far”  

Play = Work.  This is a subtle way of saying ‘Work hard, Fly far’ 

Expect new products with this motto soon. 

Play hard. Fly far.

heres another random short clip i made today. 

Its been a while since I posted, been busy working on logo designs for various clients, getting tiger media ready for prime time and some commercial work for a company you all know very well. After its released to the public i can share concept works for it but for now mums the word. But cant make a post without putting something up can I so here’s something I made before i’m heading to bed. This is in no way serious work, I’m experimenting with the scene and vibrate tag, not to mention playing with reflective textures is always cool to look at :) 

While a real action horror movie is in the works, i am still testing out some animation stuff.  Heres another clip of a guy i made in photshop with 4 different backgrounds i made in after effects.
